Miss Cheri
I am a teacher in the Infant 4 Classroom.  I have been a teacher at Precious Memories Preschool since September of 2008.  Before coming to Precious Memories, I ran a family daycare, out of my home for seven years, so that I could stay home with my children.  I especially enjoy watching the children as they grow and develop.  It is very exciting when you see a child walk for the first time or grasp a new skill or concept!

Miss Karen
I have been working at Precious Memories since it’s opening in 1999. During this time I have worked with many different age groups. I always seem to end up back in the Infant Program, where I spent my first three years.  This is where my heart is.  I love working with babies and truly enjoy being a part of their care at this remarkable time in their lives.

Miss Paula
I have been an Infant Teacher at Precious Memories since March of 2003.  My husband’s military career took us too many states in the United States allowing me to be involved in many youth activities including; Club Scouts, soccer, basketball, marching band, PTA, religious education and as a Teacher’s Aide.  I have an Associates of Arts Degree from Oxnard College in California. While living in California, I worked at the Port Hueneme Preschool.  I am a happy grandmother of three grandsons and one granddaughter.  Coming to Precious Memories has been a delight; it is enjoyable for me to watch the boys and girls develop in such a positive environment.

Miss Tina
I have worked at Precious Memories since September of 2004.  I started in the Toddler 1 Program and then moved to the Infant Program in January of 2005 where I have stayed ever since.  I gained most of my experience with children by raising my own children and grandchildren. I am the mother of two grown children and three grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 6 years old. I enjoy working with the children in the Infant Program and finds that I look forward to coming to work everyday!  There is no other job more satisfying!

Miss Amanda
Hi my name is Amanda Kirvan. I started working at Precious Memories Preschool in August of 2011. I work with the 1 ½ to 2 year old age groups and I absolutely love it. It’s so much fun trying to keep up with their energetic personalities. I am the mother of a beautiful little girl, who is one year old and currently attends the center as well. I have always loved children and wanted to work with them. When the opportunity arose to work at Precious Memories, I jumped at it and look forward to many more years!

Miss Ellen
Hi, my name is Ellen Anderson.  I am returning to Precious Memoires after being a stay at home foster mom.  I live in Norwich, CT and have three wonderful children; Michael, Dina and Elijah.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading and am an amateur photographer!  My favorite pastime though is spending time with my friends and family. I studied elementary education at Notre Dame College in Manchester, New Hampshire and decided to pursue a career working with children.  I am excited to be back at Precious Memories and will mainly be working in Infant 3 in our one year old room!

Miss Brandi
Hi, I’m Brandi, I have been at Precious Memories since 2011, working in the Infant Program, and couldn’t be happier.  I have four nieces, two nephews and another niece on the way.  I recently married my wonderful husband, Dean, last September and look forward to someday starting my own family with him.  Prior to working at Precious Memories, I worked at a Small World Daycare Center and I also nanny for two wonderful children.  I grew up around babies, so working here in Infant 1 has been great!  I can’t wait to watch these children grow and blossom into toddlers!

My name is Heidi Eilenberger, I have been a teacher Precious Memories Preschool since July of 2007.  I am currently attending Central Connecticut State University in New Britain where I am majoring in English for secondary education.  I work in Infant 1, taking care of our youngest babies.  Our aim is to follow your child’s schedule as closely as we can; providing a comfortable, loving environment for your infant to grow in.  It is such a special time to be a part of their lives and it is truly a joy watching them learn and develop all of their wonderfully unique personalities!

Miss Alyssa
Hi, my name is Alyssa Robinson and I work in the Infant 3 classroom. I recently moved to Mystic from Hawaii with my boyfriend. I graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara with a degree in Educational Studies and History. I have always wanted to be a teacher and work with children. In college I began working in summer camps and different classrooms from toddler age to first grade. Before joining Precious Memories, I worked as an Assistant Teacher in a first grade class for students with special needs. I am having so much fun in Infant 3!  My favorite part of the day is circle time when we sing songs, dance and explore shapes, colors and sounds. With this age group I like to encourage children to develop and practice new skills and behaviors. There is always a way to turn an ordinary part of the day into a learning experience!
